Meegan Barnes

Los Angeles-based artist Meegan Barnes began her career illustrating the pages of VIBE Magazine in the late ‘90s then went on to co-found a streetwear and cosmetics brand. After selling the company in 2006 she worked as a designer and trend forecaster for the likes of Levi’s and Gap before deciding to return to her passion: art. Inspired by all things sexy, stylish and strange she specialises in portraits with dark or humorous undertones.
