Lesja Chernish

Ukrainian illustrator Lesja Chernish was born and raised in Kiev where she later went on to study fashion design. Today, she is based in Berlin where she attained a degree in animation from the Film University Babelsberg. Lesja uses analogue and digital tools for the creation of her designs. Most of her work depicts portraits of women, which she describes as studies of "The woman as a human being". Black is by far her favourite colour and she finds inspiration in the world and realms of femininity.
