Just a quick look at the work of Mark Parker, aka Stars Above Us, is enough to recognize the artist's two great passions: illustration and travel. With the help of various mediums and techniques such as gouache and collage, the textile designer from Edinburgh creates colourful house facades, landscapes, cities, and still life scenes. With each of his works, the intention is to capture and record the original roughness, energy and spirit of his initial sketches.
