Abstract Landscapes

Originally from Latvia, now living in London: illustrator Liga Kitchen works for publishers, newspapers, magazines, fashion designers and beyond. Having studied at both the Latvian Academy of the Arts and Central Saint Martins, she kicked off her career as an artist with a top-tier creative background. Liga is most inspired by things she notices on a day to day basis and other people's stories. She creates wonderful collages by combining photographs, cut-outs and illustrations in interesting new ways. Her work takes you on a journey through a colourful parallel universe, where the real and surreal live in harmony side by side and sometimes even perfectly collide.
