About the artist

Megan Archer

I create collages out of a desire to give new life to the beautifully nostalgic images found within old books and magazines.

Megan Archer

Oversized cats, ant-sized elephants, anatomical elements and alternating dimensions—Megan Archer creates fantastical worlds using nothing but her bare hands, a pair of scissors and bits and pieces of paper. The New Zealand-born and Kreuzberg-based artist studied Fine Arts. Originally a painter, her path took a new turn in 2015 when she discovered the art of making collages. Megan is an avid collector of second-hand books from all corners the globe, and their pages take on a new life in each of her artworks.
