About the artist

Robotic Ewe

I'm a pointillist, without the point.

Robotic Ewe

Pointillism is a style of painting based on the spirit of Impressionism, where a series of dots comes together to form a larger image. The style flourished some 100 years ago, with the likes of Signac, Seurat and Baum, and now Robotic Ewe is breathing new life into the style. The Glasgow-based artist actually studied photography, and has now turned to producing remakes of classic film posters, iconic photographs and art pieces interspersed with typography and, of course, dots.
