Thanks to her "one drawing a day" project launched in 2015, Essex-born artist Sonia Brittain devotes almost every day to her art–alongside her job as a full-time mum. Now living in California, she is particularly inspired by landscapes, flowers and people, and describes playing and expressing as essential elements of her creative process. Since her three sons were born she has also learned to paint quickly. Anyone who sees Sonia's work knows immediately what she means: her playful illustrations and colourful watercolours literally glow with light and lightness.
